Eyes on the Prize
It’s easy for Christians to “lose the narrative.” We can be seduced into believing the Church is nothing more than a particular political party in prayer. We can get so busy doing good that we forget that we’re not just a welfare organization. We often think (wrongly) that our congregation is primarily a social organization like the Yacht Club or the Civitans. While we share concerns with political action groups, humanitarian agencies, and social and civic clubs, we’re so much more. We’re a community of people being transformed by the Spirit of God into the Image of Christ.
How do we “keep the main thing the main thing”? Worship with us this Sunday and find out.
