Friday Greetings - September 15

Do you ever feel your life is insignificant?

Do you ever worry that you were supposed to do something really big?

Perhaps you’re mistaken.

As the late Mother Teresa said,

“We can do not great things, only small things with great love.

What is important is not how much you do,

but how much love you put into doing it.”

This coming Sunday, I’m preaching from Genesis 4 and Romans 14.

My sermon title is “The Butterfly Effect.”

Even the little things we do, both good and bad, have big and lasting effects.

You are NOT insignificant.

You were created by God so that you might make a difference.

You have within you the power to change the world.

Will You Serve?

Centenary’s annual Charge Conference will be held on November 16. An essential part of preparing for Charge Conference is finding qualified, enthusiastic people to serve on our Church committees and ministry teams. Do you feel called to lead in 2024? Would you like to know more about how God could use your time and talents at Centenary? Contact one of our pastors if you’re interested in serving and/or leading at Centenary.
