“For he is our peace; in his flesh he has made both groups into one and has broken down the dividing wall, that is, the hostility between us.”
In so many places we see division in our world, not the least of which is the division of races. Martin Luther King, Jr. described 11:00 on Sunday mornings as “the most segregated hour in American life.” Tragically, it is still the most segregated hour for most of us. Over the last 6 months, a group from Centenary and a group from Refreshing Lives Ministry have been gathering around the letter to the Ephesians, seeking after that unity and peace to which Paul points. This Sunday, during the 11:00 worship, Pastor Angie Scott from Refreshing Lives will be preaching. Pastor Angie is a powerful witness to the grace of God and a woman of strong spirit. She is sure to bring us a word of hope and challenge. It is our prayer that we can move ever closer to a peace in the body of Christ. I hope you will join us in person or on FaceBook or the radio.
