Merry Christmas!
This Sunday, we tackle the question 'Where Do We Go From Here'. This year has been one full of many strange twists and turns. While we may not see an immediate end to the odd and strange changes this time has brought for many around the globe, we see glimpses of hope occurring in places, both near and far. God's hand is continually at work, even through the very lives of God's people. What's special is that we get to be a part of it all and live out our lives as part of that narrative. Here's a couple of headlines of hope through the lives of some of God's people that I came across this week:
Man Who Was Homeless Overcome with Emotion as Secret Santa Surprises Him with a Brand New Smile
New Zealand Buys Enough COVID Vaccine for its Pacific Island Neighbors
As we have all found ways to let our lights shine this year, some days seem easier than others. As children of Light, we should be seeking ways daily to offer one another hope and encouragement, balance, healing and restoration in all the ways we can. This Sunday we'll dive into that as we close the year together. May we find ways to grab hold of that good news this weekend and dash with it into 2021.
