Children's Ministry

Centenary Kids includes all children ages newborn - 5th grade. Our goal is to assist the children of the congregation to gain an understanding of what it is to truly Experience, Grow and Share Christ’s Love. There are different programs available for each age group that will assist the children to grow closer to Christ and learn what it means to be a good disciple.

Programs will vary from infant/Nursery care, Sunday School, Children’s Church, Midweek Lessons, Vacation Bible School, Mission Projects, and celebrations all with the intent of growing faith, family/friend relationships, and sense of community.

On Sundays:
  • Children’s Church is offered during the 9:00 and 11:00 service. Children will participate in worship and will be dismissed from the service after the child’s moment. Pick up is located on the second floor of the education building.

  • Sunday School Classes are offered at 10am every Sunday. We have a class for K-2 graders and for 3-5th graders. Students will learn about the Bible and God’s love in a fun interactive way ranging from skits, crafts, games, and more. We ask that you pick up your child on the second floor of the education building before 11am.

  • Infant and Nursery Care is available during all three services and during the 10:00 Sunday School Hour. Your child will be able to play in a fun safe environment while you worship.

Other Programs:
  • Centenary Young Explorers is a gathering of children who are entering 3rd - 5th grades. Our goal is to EXPLORE what it means to Experience, Grow, and Share Christ’s Love. We meet about once a month to participate in various activities, such as, mission projects, bible studies, and fun outings all with the intent of growing closer to God, Jesus, family, friends and community.

  • Seasonal Events: We offer a variety of great annual events for all ages such as Trunk or Treat, our Easter Celebration, Happy Birthday Jesus, and VBS.

Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.

Proverbs 22:6

And He took the children

in his arms,

placed his hands

on them and blessed them.
