Centenary UMC Children's Choir
Centenary UMC's children have an
important role in the music worship of the church. Every child
ages 4 through 5th grade is invited to participate in our Christmas
musical as well as the Spring musical. Every child is also
encouraged to sing solos, duets, or trios in morning worship
services. Through these music leadership opportunities, children
learn an ownership of the worship of the church.
Children's Choir Schedule
Spring 2010
Children's Choir begins Wed., Jan. 13 at 5:00 PM (ages 4 through 5th grade) in the choir room. We will meet every Wednesday at 5:00 in the choir room unless otherwise noted. This semester, the children will learn about Love, Belief, Grace, and Praise through scripture and song. We will be preparing to present a program that includes a simple part for every child as well as the congregation! For your child to have a part in this program, it is important for him or her to attend as many rehearsals as possible. The music includes everything from a traditional hymn to modern rock song! Get ready!!

Children sing at the District UMC Rally held at Garber UMC. Meet at Garber UMC MORRIS HALL at 2:15.
You may leave after the children sing, or if you would like to stay for
the remainder of the meeting, age-appropriate activities will be
provided for the children after they sing.

Children sing at BLAST at 6:15. Meet at 5:00 in choir room for
regular rehearsal. Children will eat, then gather in the
Aldersgate classroom at 6:10 to line-up for singing in the Fellowship
Hall.
